Point the camera in the direction you want to climb and press W. 

Hint: You need not always "climb" towards the building.

Playtesting revealed that some sections of the climb were unbearably slow and, with no time in the game jam to add more content to fill the dead space and no desire to waste the player's time, I kicked the climb speed and arm length way up. This results in some seriously janky movement but I would prefer the game be interesting and janky than functional and dull. You may find it necessary to release W on occasion to allow your momentum to die down.
